PILES/ HAEMORRHOIDS

Haemorrhoids or Piles are dialated veins in the anal canal formed by the radicles of the superior, middle and inferior rectal veins.

Classification:

-         Internal:  They are dialated veins of internal rectal plexus and        hence found inside the anal canal within the anal orifice.

-         External: They are dialated veins of external haemorrhiodal plexus and are situated outside the anal orifice.

-         Interno - External haemorrhoids: When both the conditions co-exist the condition is turned interno- external haemorrhoids.

Grades:

-         1st degreeexternal

-         2nd degree

-         3rd degree

-         4th degree

Treatment:

-         Piles can be treated by simple Ayurvedic Medications depending upon the degree of the piles.

-         Taking fibre rich diet such as fruits, Salads, green leafy vegetables can correct Constipation.

-         Ksharasutra and Kshara karma treatments are very much helpful in treating piles.
