Gall stones are small stones, usually made of cholesterol ,that form in the gall bladder. Gall stones are developed due to imbalance in chemical makeup of bile inside the gall bladder. In most of the cases the levels of cholesterol in bile become too high and the excess cholesterol forms into stones.
