RENAL STONES

Renal stones are hard deposits of minerals and acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine. They can be painful when passing through the urinary tract, but usually don’t cause permanent damage. The most common symptom is severe pain, usually in the side of the abdomen, that’s often associated  nausea.

Symptoms:-
-Nauseas.
-Vomiting’s.
-Bleeding through urinary tract.
-Burning sensation while passing urine.
-Acute pain in abdomen.
Treatment:-

Treatment involves stone dissolving oral medications. Panchakarma therapies helps in cleansing and eliminating the toxins from the body.

VARICOSE VEINS

Varicose veins occur when your veins become enlarged, dilated and overfilled C̅ blood. Varicose veins typically appear swollen and raised and have a bluish-purple or red color. They are often painful. Ayurveda explains varicose veins as Siraja granthi.

Symptoms:-
-Aching pain in lower limb.
-Numbness.
-Discoloration of the veins.

Treatment:-
-Sira Vyadha.

-Vasti &Oral medications.

ACID PEPTIC DISEASE

Excessive Secretion of acid and pepsin or a weakened stomach mucosal defense is responsible for damage to the delicate mucosa and the lining of stomach, esophagus and duodenum resulting in ulceration which is known as Acid peptic disease. It is a collective term used to include many conditions such as gastro esophageal reflux disease(GERD)gastritis, gastric ulcer, Zollinger Ellison Syndrome(ZES) and Meckel’s diverticular ulcer.

Treatment:-
It is caused by aggravation of pitta. Aggravated pitta leads to increase of acidic content in stomach fluids. To balance pitta certain Ayurvedic herbs as well we panchakarma procedures like vasti, vamana karma and Snehapanam are very much helpful.

Diet & Lifestyle:-
-Avoid Tea and coffee.
-Intake of Buttermilk helps in digestion.
-Take meals at regular intervals.

-Practice yoga asanas.

INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE(IBS)

It represents a group of intestinal disorders that causes prolonged inflammation of the digestive tract.The exact cause of the IBD is not known but genetics and problems with immunity have been associated with IBD.IBD is comprised of 2 major disorders which include chron’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Symptoms:-
-Diarrhoea.
-Bleeding ulcers.
-Bowel obstruction.
-Weight loss.
-Anemia.
Treatment:-

Ayurvedic treatment mainly removes toxins, digest ama, boost the immune system by balancing all the doshas.
Home remedies for IBS:-

  • Cumin seeds and tender leaves of Guava are taken and made into fine paste.20 gram of thisis taken along with buttermilk twice daily. It helps to reduce the frequency ofepisodes of bowel habit.
  • The fruit cover (epicarp) of Pomegranate is rubbed well with lemon juice andfine paste is made. This is taken twice daily along with warm water. Thisrestores the capacity of small intestine.

Diet & Lifestyle:-
  • Have regular meals and take time to eat.
  • Drink at least eight cups of fluid per day, especially water or other non-caffeinated drinks, for example herbal teas.
  • Restrict tea and coffee to three cups per day.
  • Reduce intake of alcohol and fizzy drinks.
  • For general health benefit, adults should achieve a total of at least 30 minutes a day of atleast moderate intensity physical activity on 5 or more days of the week.

FROZEN SHOULDER



It is a condition characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint. It may happen after an injury or overuse or from a disease such as diabetes such as diabetes or stroke. There is a limitation of motion in a joint due to inflammatory thickening of the capsule, a common cause of stiffness in the shoulder.

ANAL POLYP

Polyps  are the abnormal growths that start in the inner lining of the anal canal or rectum. Most of the time symptoms include bleeding while passing stools, painful defecation or constipation that lasts longer than one week. Most of the polyps have been observed with  increasing frequency in the past few years.

Treatment:-
Ayurvedic treatment like kshara karma and advanced techniques have showed tremendous results without any surgery or reoccurrence.

Diet & Lifestyle:-
-Avoid constipation.
-Increase the intake of fibre rich food like fruits, salads , green leafy vegetables.

LORDOSIS

It can be defined as an excessive inward curve of the spine. It differs from the spine’s normal curves at the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions. Lordosis is found in all age groups. It primarily affects the lumbar spine, but can occur in the neck.

-  Dysplasia of the hip.
-  Pain may radiate down the legs.

-    Kati vasti.
